Brooklyn 2.0 dress (midi)
I posted this picture in the Facebook group and numerous women did like this type of dress. Also for the color.
A full skirt, mid calf length or longer so it’s also a long skirt on taller women (because it’s not a circle but a straight hem it can be easily shortened if needed)
A defined empire waist that’s easily adjustable for longer or shorter torso because of the straps coming from the side seam.
And little cap sleeves are so flattering!

Jeannette EngelForgot to mention pockets but these are essential! Inseam pockets are almost invisible in such a full skirt.

Amy C.This is what we dreamed the Brooklyn maxi would be. The criss cross wrap over the belly is so much more flattering than the elastic, the top wrap provides more coverage than the current Brooklyn who gets floppy, and the sleeves have the right length without being too restrictive.
PLEASE also adopt this clean light green. It's a perfect color for warm weather!! -

Tracy BI love everything about this suggestion. To me the one big drawback of the Brooklyn is the elastic waist makes the dress look like the dress is “unfinished” and needs a belt. This built in empire waist belt, allows Brooklyn to be worn on its own. I would buy this style in both a short and long version(s) plural, multiple colors 🤩

KGorgeous style of dress! I would only buy jewel tones (cool, clear, saturated COLOR), though. As in sapphire, ruby, emerald, amethyst, not the typical muddy marionberry, please.

JvI came here to suggest something very similar, having just seen this Fb ad - a bit like a true midi Brooklyn with a tie belt to cinch the waist and cover or not need elastic.

AnnaYes! I just posted this on the Facebook group and there’s enthusiastic response. What I like about this style, is that there is more fabric in the top and in the skirt then in Brooklyn, and it is adjustable- also, the extra ruching is flattering.

Diane NewcomerI love this! I would love it with pockets. Love that it is adjustable. I didn’t like how low cut the Brooklyn is. I like the belted look. This is classic and elegant and I would love it in garnet or berry pink.

JillI love everything about this dress: the neckline, the waist, the full skirt! Please offer it in other colors than black and marionberry. Beetroot, berry pink, or a true red would be be amazing!
