  I would live in these pants. In fact, I have a much lower quality version that I have lived in to the point that they are threadbare. But in coulotte and preferably long (to shoes). Please please please!

  Yes - a true straight/wide leg from the hip, not just the knee; and enough back rise (for those of us with boodies) for the waistband to hit at the waist and STAY PUT when we sit or crouch.

  I would like to repeat this wish. A woven cropped pant, perhaps with a little of a 'balloon' shape and an elastic + drawstring w/pockets: perfect. I have similar pants--pieced, so perhaps more work--in cotton for summer/warm months, but it would be brilliant to have wool/wool-blend same for winter/cool. A sort of lighter weight drawstring version of 20th c winter soldier pants used in Switzerland/mountains, as I recall. This is a pic of more or less what the pants I have look like, as in general silhouette
