Looser sleeves
Long and 3/4 length sleeves on the 78/22 blend fabric dresses need a bit more fabric especially in the upper arm area

I can’t wear any of the dresses with sleeves. Brooklyn is the only one with loose enough sleeves but it is too short for my comfort and it is too short-waisted for my torso. -

Lex HevronYes! I have to size up in Willow and Rowena just because the sleeves are so tight. Then I really am swimming in fabric to the point of not being able to wear them without a belt.

AvaAgree. The sleeves on Rowena are just a bit too snug, and I’m a size medium. Thanks!

NicholeI sold my rowena and and Willow for this reason. I tried sizing up but there was just way too much fabric everywhere else. Plus the neckline was was too big when I sized up and showed my bra straps on the rowena, or super plunging neckline on the Willow. Maybe if the necklines didn’t increase in size so much I would be able to wear the next size up. But I think the best fit for me would be just adding a bit more room to the sleeves.

MargaretI agree. My Rowena sleeves were too tight to fit a shirt under it for winter and I love the look of the Willow but have avoided buying one because of the comments about the sleeves.

ShirleyYes! Not all of us have stick sized arms and need looser sleeves. I'm not large by any means, 5'2" and weigh 145 lbs, and STRUGGLE with most Wool& sleeve circumference.

Elisa in AlaskaI layer under dresses with a base layer or silk shirt. The Rowena sleeves were so tight, I sent the XLarge back. The XXL had reviews that said the sleeves were the same size as the XLG, so I tried the 1X.
The sleeves in the 1X are perfect. I’m swimming in the rest of the dress and the neck opening is too wide.
I need the option to layer under a dress, so a wider sleeve in the upper arm is essential for me. Now that I’m getting older, my arms are not so skinny. -

ShirleyYes!! I'm just 137 pounds and the longer sleeves are way too tight on my upper arms.

MimiMI really wanted to love Rowena, I bought the L and XL and found the sleeves too tight in both. I returned them both :(
This dress would be a huge hit for a lot more of us if they were to make the sleeves more relaxed. I bet that adjustment would double your sales! -

ChristianThis of the ONLY company I’ve ever had trouble with as far as arm girth goes. I Have maybe slightly more muscular arms than average, but again, this is the only company that has sleeves so tight I can’t wear sleeved dresses in a size that fits the test of my body. PLEASE make Willow/Rowena/etc with more room in the upper arms!

ReginaYes yes yes to this! I'm very average sized and was surprised at how tight the sleeves were on my Rowena dress. I tried wearing it often to see if they loosen up but they really don't and it's definitely to the point of uncomfortable.

LTI commented on the other post as well but I feel like the long sleeves I own (Winona and the denim jacket) are more “skinny fit” sleeves. Please add an extra 1/2-1” on the upper arms so they are not as fitted.

Pnw hikerThe frustrating part of the many items that are too tight in the upper arms is that adding 1/4" would NOT detract from the item for super skinny armed people! Think about it, have you ever heard someone say, "I liked the t shirt but the arms were too wide". Too short, too long, but never too wide.
